How often does equipment need testing?
It depends on the environment the equipment is used in — AS/NZS 3760 sets shorter intervals for harsher conditions such as construction, workshops and commercial kitchens than for a low-risk office. We set the interval per site and schedule it.
Do we get a record we can show an inspector?
Yes. Every site we service gets an asset register listing each item, its result and its next due date. That register is the evidence, not the tag on the lead.
Can you test and tag out of hours?
Yes. Most commercial testing is scheduled around trading hours so the site keeps operating.
