Can you retrofit access control to existing doors?
Usually yes, though the door and frame determine which hardware suits. We assess the doors first, because the hardware choice follows the door rather than the other way round.
What happens in a power failure or fire alarm?
Egress doors must always release. We specify fail-safe or fail-secure hardware per door and coordinate the release so a controlled door never becomes a trapped exit.
Can we manage our own fobs?
Yes. We set the system up so you can issue and revoke credentials yourself, and we hand over the administration rather than keeping it.
