Our promise
Lifetime Installation Warranty
Every installation carries a lifetime AIF Gold installers warranty. We stand by our work — no corners cut, no risks taken.
What it covers
Our workmanship, backed for the life of the installation
Each of our technicians treats every job as if it was in their own home. Quality products with extended warranties, installed above industry standards, by qualified technicians focused on long-term solutions.
Our workmanship, for the life of the installation
If an installation we carried out fails because of how we installed it, we come back and put it right at no cost to you.
Terminations and connections
Loose, failing or incorrectly made terminations in work we performed — the most common workmanship failure in electrical installation.
Compliance of what we installed
If work we completed is later found not to comply with the standard that applied at the time, we rectify it.
Return visits without argument
Assessing a warranty claim is our cost, not yours. We do not charge a call-out to determine whether something is our fault.
What sits outside it
Being clear about the boundaries
A warranty is only worth something if both sides know what it means. These sit outside the workmanship warranty — though in most cases we can still help you resolve them.
Manufacturer product faults
Fittings, appliances and equipment carry their own manufacturer warranty. We help you claim it, and we will replace a faulty item under that warranty, but the product warranty is the manufacturer’s.
Fair wear, damage and misuse
Physical damage, water ingress, pest damage, storm and surge events, or modification by others after we left.
Work altered by someone else
If another party alters our installation, the warranty covers what we did, not what was changed afterwards.
Pre-existing installation faults
Faults in wiring or equipment that was already there and outside the scope of the work we quoted.
Common questions
Warranty FAQs
- Does "lifetime" mean my lifetime or the installation’s?
- The life of the installation as we installed it. If the installation is removed, replaced or substantially altered by someone else, the warranty applies to what we originally did rather than to the altered work.
- Does the warranty transfer if I sell the property?
- The warranty attaches to the installation, so a new owner is covered for our workmanship on it. Keep the invoice and the Certificate of Electrical Safety with the property records.
- What do I need to make a claim?
- Your invoice or job reference and a description of the fault. Call us and we will arrange an assessment. Assessing the claim costs you nothing.
- Is this instead of my statutory rights?
- No. This warranty is in addition to the consumer guarantees you have under Australian Consumer Law. Nothing here limits those rights.
This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not limit, the consumer guarantees that apply under Australian Consumer Law.
